Keeping Your ID Card Protected With A Badge Holder

By Jack Blake

While working in a call center for a telecommunications company I received a badge. The name of the badge holder used was Proximity Card Badge Holder. The holder contained a retractable cord and it enabled me to affix it to my attire without having to stress about misplacing it.

This badge holder was durable and lasted well. Even with all the use I put it to, I never experienced any issues with it over the course of a year. I generally kept it in either my purse or pocket, along with various other things, and it never became damaged.

My supervisor had the same badge holder as I and he was able to get three years of use out of his badge holder. He was not as careful with his badge holder and even though he was rough it still held up. The badge holder prevented him from losing his badge when he had to travel for business.

I also love the fact that the badge holders are translucent. We would scan our badges to get into the building, and it was really nice not having to take my badge out to get into the building. I would just hold the badge up to the scanner, and I was instantly allowed in the building. If it weren't for having such a nice badge holder, I probably would have had to go through security, and that was a time consuming thing to do.

My favorite feature of the Proximity Card Badge Holder is that it is extremely inexpensive. My supervisor purchased hundreds of the badge holders at wholesale prices; he never purchased any other brand of badge holder. Because we were in a large company, it was imperative that we were able to purchase a high-quality badge holder at a reasonable price. If I ever needed to purchase badge holders myself as a business owner, I would certainly choose the Proximity Card Badge Holder. Since I have had such a good experience with the badge holders, I assume my employees would have a good experience as well. Their thin, sturdy construction makes them very useful for being swiped through a badge reader.

A great thing about the badge holder is the fact that when you've got your badge secured in the badge holder, you never have to worry about losing it. I've never turned my badge holder upside down and worried about losing my badge. When you have to pay a good amount of money to get a new badge, it's one less thing to worry about. It's also a great security feature if you're taking your badge to your car in a large parking lot, and the wind catches it. I wouldn't ever want to have to worry about a stranger using my badge to break in to a large building and hack into the computers or anything like that. I would get into a lot of trouble for that, and thankfully I never had to worry because the badge holder withstood it's test. - 15437
